Netanya is located in the Northern Central District of Israel, 30 km (18.64 mi) north of Tel Aviv, and 56 km (34.80 mi) south of Haifa, between the 'Poleg' stream and Wingate Institute in the south and the 'Avichail' stream in the north. It is the capital of the surrounding Sharon plain. Netanya was named in honor of Nathan Straus, a prominent Jewish American merchant and philanthropist in the early twentieth century.
Its 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) of beaches have made the city a very popular tourist resort. Sea and sun lovers will enjoy wonderful beaches with fine sand and clean transparent water. Netanya is also paradise for recreationists, it offers endless opportunities for various sports and activities such as water skiing, PWCs, paddle boats, paragliding. There also are equipped basketball and volleyball courts.
How to get to the hotel:
1. You can book a transfer at the hotel and we will meet you at the airport and help you with your luggage right into your room
2. By taxi, approx price $75-80 from Ben Gurion Airport, can be 20% extra at night time
3. Take a direct local train to Netanya at Ben Gurion airport, (approx price $7-8) at night, from 10 p.m. till 06.a.m. direct trains go every hour, from 06 a.m. till 22 p.m. you can take a transfer train every half an hour and change it to Netanya at one of Tel Aviv stations.
In Netanya you can either take a taxi to the destination (approx $8-9) or a local bus (approx $1,5-2 per person).
